whats the difference between raid and normal?

Well, in raiding, you take supplies and in normal, you attack. In raiding, not all of your troops will die if you attack someone a bit stronger than you; however, in normall they might all die.

eh??? i still dont get it... so wouldnt raiding be better ?? so whats the point of normal then O_O

Normal is used also to take supplies; however, it is more commonly used in wars.

As a more than experienced attacker I can clarify any differences.

1. Raid: Your troops attack the enemy to steal resources, you may lose half to all your troops depending on how many the enemy has. The next thing may be intimidating so don't read it if your afraid of being attacked. The point is only to steal resources with this method of attack.

2. Attack: This way your objective is far different, it is to destroy the enemy's troops completely, steal, and possibly destroy some fileds or buildings. Players preferto be more experienced before attacking instead of raiding. This method is the same as raid with few differences. They are: 1. All the troops of 1 player are destroyed and so are many of the others. 2. With any siege weapon you destroy or lower someone's buildings and fileds.

raiding=to steal resources and some units

normal=take down units...(leading to less resources)

so basically i would use raiding more o_O

Just to make things clear, in a raid, you don't steal troops, you kill some. Only a Gaul can catch a troop [using a Trapper].
